It belongs to electrochemical reaction. The amount of zinc on the general hot-dip galvanized steel grating is about 70um. With good adhesion and hardness of the galvanized layer, the corrosion resistance of the hot-dip galvanized steel grating is better, so it is generally suitable for outdoor use. "Cold plating", is also called "electroplating", that is, the zinc salt solution is electrolyzed to coat the plated parts, generally speaking, no heating is needed, and the amount of zinc on electro-galvanized is only about 10 grams, which is a physical treatment and can be easily peeled off when encountering a humid environment. The corrosion resistance of cold galvanized steel grating is not so good, so it's generally for indoor use.

      2. For color, generally, the color of hot-dip galvanized steel grating is bright, which is silver white, while the color of electro galvanized steel grating is dark, which is dirty white.
